Your video must be sent to us on a DVD, and be between 3 & 4 minutes long.
The video must be edited well, ( Keep the slow mo’s, double edits and the ender-enders to a minimum. )
Only you skating, no guest skaters…no sketchy tricks unless it’s a huge hammer, don’t try to edit in a trick you didn’t land, because we can tell if you bailed!!
You have to get the music for the video…find a cool band on Myspace that will let you use a song, make or find a good instrumental beat, or start a band like Tony T. and record your song…but it has to be of good quality, and you have to have the rights to use it.
The contest will start on May 1st 2007 and all DVD’s must be mailed to our headquarters by October 1st 2007.
Your video will be judged by skateboard industry veterans, pro skaters, shop and park owners all around Florida…the winners will chosen based on their style, originality and the difficulty of their tricks…as well as their editing, camera angles, music and artistic creativity.
All the skaters that make the final cut of the Underground Florida DVD may receive a sponsorship from one of our skate company sponsors…
Video premieres will be held all over Florida when the contest ends, and the final cut of the Underground FLA will show who got sponsored by which company.
This may be the chance of a lifetime, so don’t lurk…get to work!!!
